Mama Eva's Pralines

My grandmother, Mama Eva, grew up in Biloxi, Mississippi. She learned how to make pralines and would make them as special treats to give away to friends and family at Christmas time. She had five children, nine grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren. She also had enough love for all of us and the children at the early learning center that she founded. Mama Eva gained her angel wings in September of 2021 at 91 years old, but her memories and traditions live on inside of all of us.

My name is Alyssa, and I am Mama Eva’s youngest granddaughter. When I was in high school, she taught me her secret to making her praline recipe just right. It includes patience and a lot of sugar and butter! Every Christmas when I helped her make them, people would encourage us to start selling them. I had a few orders here and there during the holiday season, but we recently decided to make it a business in honor of our Mama Eva. We started an Etsy shop and became a vendor at local festivals. The feedback was amazing, and I was in shock at how many people enjoyed our product. I love being able to share my Mama Eva’s pralines with your family and friends!

My husband, Andrew, helps me run the business. We decided to add his family’s favorite Christmas treat as well. He grew up enjoying Peanut Butter Cornflake Candy with his family. This is for all of the peanut butter lovers out there!

Our goal is to bring back childhood memories and the warmth and love of family gatherings while you enjoy our sweet treats. We hope to grow with more flavors and different selections as the years go by. Thank you for all of your support. It truly means the world to us, and we love what we do!
